And finally, some videos of a walk-through down below;

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are more photographs taken in June 2022. Just after the boat has been brought from the Azores to Ireland, the trip was memorable and there will be a final blog entry in due course. Suffice to say the boat was magnificent in the Force 10!

You can see the recording hummingbird echo sounder - invaluable in the narrow channels in the America Intracoastal Waterway. Also the Garmin 8 inch chartplotter, visible from the wheel and it can display the AIS targets from the McMurdo AIS transceiver, as well as the Radar. The VHF has its own GPS built-in for redundancy, always good to have at least two of everything! The brightwork needs varnish - the boat was ashore in the Azores for 3 years during (and before) Covid. I will attend to this shortly...

I added the centre aisle and made a new set of companionway steps - the centre aisle was really useful - it provides extra security for the cook. One of my crew stumbled across from the cooker to the chart table and broke two ribs, which is why I made the new unit.

I redid the galley worksurface when I rebuilt the fridge - the insert board, under the mug holders allow use of electric devices in marinas - the boat has an electric kettle, an electric popup toaster and a electric single ring hob to minimise gas usage - very handy.

Large berths, the seatbacks hinge up and make a very cosy double...

Forward heads, fitted with a seasmart device as well as a purican bottle and an extra non-return valve

New taps

The entire interior has the wooden slats to reduce condensation, this works well.

Looking forward from the aft cabin, you can just see the McMurdo AIS transceiver behind the 12 volt Fan,(there are three fans and these are very good in the tropics)

Looking aft along the voluminous and high engine passageway you can see the Furuno weatherfax and the Navtex. The weatherfax was really useful in my Azores to Ireland trip - it allowed me to run East and avoid a Force 12, I got a mere force 9 gusting 10.

Looking Aft in the Aft cabin
And looking forward, the second heads door
The aft heads, you can see the seasmart pump and purytec bottle to the right of the bowl.

The engine room access is very good.

I fitted additional diverter valves and a pump out fitting for the aft heads

Note the holding tank and the large powerful autopilot drive motor - this is fed with two relays from the control unit on the cockpit and is a very robust drive system. The drive is working but there is a fault in the control unit, I will be getting it looked at soon.

The two solar cell controllers wired in parallel for redundancy, a shore power distribution panel, with galvanic isolator and a smart battery charger.
